TAS-Z1

Measure in the field.
Bring results into your project with confidence.

Tersus TAS-Z1 is a total station combining distance and angle measurements with data recording and stakeout functions. Dual control panels, an alphanumeric keypad and Bluetooth connectivity simplify field surveying and data transfer to the office.

Angular measurement accuracy
2″
Single-prism measurement range
5000 m¹
Reflectorless measurement range
1000 m¹
Dust and water protection
IP55

¹ Measurement range is affected by target reflectivity, atmospheric conditions and setup. Single-prism, reflective-sheet and reflectorless values refer to different targets.

TECHNOLOGY AND PERFORMANCE

Details make a difference.

Fast distance measurement

With a single prism, fine measurement takes 0.3 seconds and tracking takes 0.1 seconds. Reflectorless measurement takes 0.3–3 seconds.

New EDM design

A 150 MHz modulation frequency, low-noise amplifier and optical signal separation form the basis of distance measurement.

30× telescope

The erect-image telescope provides a 45 mm effective objective aperture and a 1.2 m minimum focusing distance.

Dual panels, easy data entry

A backlit 24-key alphanumeric keypad and dual control panels support operation from either face.

Transfer via Bluetooth and USB

Transfer survey data through Bluetooth or USB and incorporate DAT, CSV and DXF outputs into your project workflow.

Road surveying and stakeout

Continue fieldwork with horizontal and vertical curve calculations, known-point coordinates and road stakeout functions.

APPLICATIONS

Technology that fits your project.

Mapping and land surveying

Collect angle, distance and coordinate data in the field.

Construction and stakeout

Set out design points on site and measure existing conditions.

Roads and infrastructure

Use road surveying, curve calculations and stakeout functions.

WORKFLOW

Three steps to operation.

01

Set up and orient

Complete setup with the laser plummet and levels, then orient using known points.

02

Measure and record

Select prism or reflectorless mode to record angles, distances and point data.

03

Transfer and evaluate

Retrieve data via Bluetooth or USB and continue the project using DAT, CSV or DXF outputs.

ppm denotes the distance-dependent error component. Runtime and measurement performance vary with field conditions and use.
